IP bad rest great . The EH100 was basically plug-and-play.
The IP given in the setup guide was wrong.
What it should have been is:192.168.0.1
Once that was corrected, setup was easy.
I was able to use my laptop in another room
in just minutes.

Don't Buy - No Support . I have had this router for about 4 years or so now. The good - it works, most of the time, occasionally when I am on my lap top I will suddenly not have a connection but that only happens now and again, until this weekend I was satisfied with this product. Now that I am having my first problem with it - connecting XBox, I find that Ehome is a division of D-Link now except D-Link does not even have this model listed and they give you a eupport line for Ehome that goes to some poor mans home who obviously gets these calls quite often. So because there is no support for this product I would advise you not to buy it or you are throwing money away if you ever have a problem, also dosent work well with XBox Live at all!

cheap but decent - and now unsupported . Ehome appears to be an abandoned product line from D-Link, certainly there is zero support for the EH100 on the D-link site and no Ehome site left.
But other than that and its rather plain appearance, this router is pretty decent. And I think I paid $9 for it on sale at Compusa before they closed.
Has a setup wizard built into the router that gets on-line easily.
Performance seems as good as any other Netgear or other routers I have used, certainly it's more stable than the Netgear.
This Ehome has outlasted 2 Netgear G routers side by side.
Works with PS3 wired and Xbox 360 wired (at least with ours), but crashes and required hard reset if a PS3 wireless attempts to link.
All the normal security modes, MAC cloning, decent logging, etc of the higher priced routers.
The bad:
1. No support
2. Limited list (10) of allowed MAC addresses if you secure based on an allowed MAC list
3. Incompatible with PS3 wireless (only)

Can't use with security... . I agree that it was easy to install and seems to be working correctly but when I put security on it, I can't access it at all. I tried to find a tech support line but none of the info that came with it is still active. The email address for eHome isn't there anymore, I tried going onto Dlink since eHome is a division and they don't have this model anywhere under their line of products. I just need to know why even I can't access it once it's secure. I'm sure it's something that I didn't do (I'm not an IT person by any means)but I need someone to tell me what that may be. Good product...bad support.
Cons Review
NOT FOR XBOX360 . THIS ROUTER WORKED OK WITH MY WIRELESS LAPTOP CONNECTION, BUT COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK FOR MY XBOX 360. I OPENED ALL THE PORTS NEEDED AND STILL COULDNT GET IT TO WORK. SO IT WORKS OK JUST NOT GOOD TO CONNECT YOUR XBOX 360 WIRELESS WITH APT.
