Tiny and awesome! . I had just purchased a used PowerMac G5 and realized that it did not have the Airport Card in it when it arrived. I had ordered it, it did not have it, so I had to come up with something that would work.A little searching the net showed a list of OS X compatible wifi cards, so I looked to Amazon for cards with that chipset. The first match on my search was this item.Works perfectly. It's a little strange to use the application to connect to networks, but no big deal. Once you set up your preferred network, you can save the settings. That's a big help. This thing is TINY! It's great how small it is. There's no dongle to worry about breaking off. If anything, removing it from the case is a little tricky since it's hard to grasp. Personally, I like that. I have young children and it makes it impossible for them to pull it off out of curiosity. All in all, this is the single best OS X compatible USB Wifi card I have ever purchased, and if I could, I'd buy 900 of them. They're crazy good.

Mini USB LAN Wifi Adapter Reviews
Good for small spaces or poorly placed places . I've used this Mini USB Wifi adapter for roughly 8 months now on a old laptop running Windows XP home edition. The laptop is used mainly to browse internet web pages and for this it works well. The small size an advantage on the laptop's poorly placed USB ports that put USB devices in the way making it easy to dislodged them. This adapter was purchased with size as the primary requirement and it has worked well and has never been dislodged from the poorly placed USB port.Be aware if size isn't a critical requirement then you might not want this Wifi adapter. The small size does create some problems with speed and range, so don't expect to be able to stream video through it and don't expect it to give you the range of a larger adapter. I wouldn't recommend using this adapter on a desktop both for it's relative slowness and the ease with which it can be "shadowed" by other large objects. For me 3 internal walls(no metallic backed insulation)and a distance of just over twenty-five feet from the wireless router give a consistant 66% signal strength at roughly 97% quality.

Mini USB LAN Wifi Adapter Opinions
Excellent size but . This USB LAN Wifi Adapter has an excellent size, but it gets disconnected sometimes for some reason that I don't know yet.
But if you consider the price, it's ok.

Good Little Network Adapter! Win 7 64bit Compatible ! . Works Great! Dont know why people say not to buy it, I think they Dont know what they are doing! You Have to install the software because Win 7 wont find it automatically BUT SO WHAT!! its dirt cheeep! It comes with the software you need or you can go to Realtek website and find it! It's compatible with ALL windows 32 bit & 64 and Linux Systems.Unlike some Network Plug and Play adapters, this one has software attached to it, so instead of just plugging it in and getting on the Net, you have to install the software for it to work, but the software has a lot of options you can use and adjust, not to mention it has level meters to gauge how strong the signal is and the quality of the signal! Some say its slow but I keep getting the advertised 150Mbps (wireless N),I think they are on the wireless B/G because when I moved my notebook away from it about 35 feet, it dropped down to 120Mbps, but thats ok with me! There is even a little blinking light on this little guy that you can daze at when your thinking about what to buy next on Amazon! But really it lets you know that there is active connectivity happening, like the light on your hard drive, so you know its functioning. Dont hesitate to buy this especially if your on a budget, it WILL work!!... and did I mention its Cheap!
Huge functionality tiny device . This amazingly small device works just as well as its larger counterparts. It also is less likely to get knocked out and/or broken off by mistake.
It's ok . It's not too bad but if your looking for one that will pick up the internet from more than 25 feet look elsewhere it works fine if it's in the same room with the wireless router but still pretty slow.
Pros:
small
works
Cons:
can't pick up connections from too far of a distance
not as fast as you'd think
Bottom line: It's not too bad

Great product / Great price . This device and the price are both great. Works just as advertised and it is so small that if you didn't know that it was there you wouldn't notice it. The setup was easy and straigh forward too. Plus it works with a/b/g/n networks. I would suggest it.
Cons Review
Please don't buy this. It's SLOW! . Hey, so I saw all the reviews about this thing, and for the price (and the size) this was a no brainer.
Well, in a nutshell you get what you pay for. This thing works. And that's about the only good thing I can say about this thing. Other than that, I couldn't find anything good about it. My downloads were SLOW, youtube was super slow, and everything I did online whether it was browsing, loading videos, online radios, everything was slow.
The integrated wifi adapter on my laptop works sometimes (which is why I bought this), so what I did was test the bandwidth with my integrated adapter (one of the times it was working), and it clearly marked 5mbps, and I even downloaded stuff that time I was testing it. Had no problems whatsoever. Then I turned it off and put this USB adapter I had just bought. And guess?
600kbps OF BANDWIDTH! what the heck???
I restarted the computer several times, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers of this thing. Nothing worked. I did this same procedure several times, and every time I tested the bandwidth, I got the same results.
Conclusion: save your money and look for quality!

Terrible product even for the price . I was in the market for a USB adapter to access my wireless network at my home. I have a older USB WiFi adapter that I was using previously and it was about 6 times as large as the Mini USB LAN WiFi Adapter.
I can't tell you how many times the old USB adapter was knocked off my PC or even broken simply because it was so large. When I found this product on Amazon.com, I was interested. Not only because of the small size, but because of the price.
I paid $50.00 for my last standard WiFi adapter from Walmart, I paid roughly $9.00 (with shipping) for the mini adapter from Amazon.com, it wasn't that much money so it wasn't a big deal if it didn't work properly.
I got mine in the mail in about 4 days, but it took the seller about two days to even ship the product even though I had ordered it on a Monday at 3AM, I was a little annoyed with that.
I have a Windows 7 Dell Workstation T3400 desktop computer, I plugged the mini USB adapter into my computer and windows installed the needed drivers on it's own in about 10 seconds tops. I didn't even bother with the driver CD that was included.
At first glance this product works great, it loads (most) web pages effortlessly - but don't let that fool you! While this product boasts speeds up to 150Mbps it doesn't even come remotely close. This product struggles to even stream low resolution Youtube videos, needing to constantly buffer clips.
Pay the extra money and buy a halfway decent WiFi adapter, because it won't matter how fast your internet access is if the product can't handle the transmission.
Piece of junk, avoid at all costs, not worth the cardboard it was shipped in.
