Take it with you . Footprint - small and compact, no wasted space very light
Quality - sturdy, does not feel cheap
Configuration - efficient, having one USB port on the end takes care of drives that have a wider design

pro - easy to store, no messy cables
con - harder to connect, you have to twist the cable to angle it to connect to the laptop, it also mean that the hub is not laying flat on the table, short cable makes it a little cumbersome to grasp to connect - but once it is connected it is secure

Compact and functional no complaints . This is a very nice bus-powered USB 2.0 hub with a functional, compact design. It has four sturdy female USB connectors, three on the long side of its outer face and one on the short side; the back contains a male USB connector on a short, slightly flimsy cable, and there's a nice recessed place provided to dock this connector while travelling so that it should be able to avoid damage.
The hub works well with USB 2.0 High Speed connections -- I tested it by burning a DVD-R through the USB connection, and found it did not reduce burn speeds appreciably. Though there's very little to differentiate USB hubs, this one seems well-designed, sturdy, relatively cheap, and functional, so I'd certainly recommend it to anyone seeking a nice compact hub for travel and laptop use.

Nice if you are limited with USB's . I have a netbook that is limited to 2 usb ports. Normally that would be enough, but when you have a wireless mouse, an iphone and a DVD drive, something needs to be left out. This fixed that for me and I am very happy with it. Its only flaw is that it should have a way to afix itself to the computer so that it isn't in the way. Otherwise, it is great.

Standard USB adapter . This is a fairly standard USB adapter. On the plus side it is compact and offers 4 additional ports. I also own a powered USB adapter which seems to give me a more stable connection when multiple ports are used simultaneously.
Great product. . Not really much to say since this is a fairly straightforward item, however it works great! I have never had any trouble with Belkin products and this one is no different. I have several laser printers hooked up to this hub and everything is working fine (I have this plugged into a powered hub). Another solid product from Belkin! 5/5 stars.
Perfect! . As a photographer I feel like I'm always running out of USB ports, even though my laptop has 3 of them! This little baby has helped immensely. I keep it plugged into one of my ports and I instantly have room for more. It's also been a huge help with my external harddrive as well! I've seen no problem with speeds or anything - just plug it in and it's ready to go!
Easy to use compact no problems! . Not much to say here! This USB hub works well. I have it plugged into my laptop. The cord is indeed very short - about 1.5", so it would be awkward to use it with a desktop. But again this is a TRAVEL port, so you're not likely travelling with your desktop now, are you?

The cord fits neatly within the port when not in use. The port is well made and doesn't feel cheap at all.
The only possible detraction would be the length of the cord, but it was not an issue for me.

Handy Nicely Built Port . Love this little USB port, small and easy to use, it is great for traveling and is well made. The small USB cable folds out of the back and plus into your PC or laptop and has just enough length to be functional. The USB slots are nice and tight not a loose fit like the cheap ones and it looks and feels well made.

Works well but flimsy cable.... . The Belkin 4-Port Travel Hub is just what I needed to increase the amount of USB hubs on my woefully inadequate PC. It will turn one USB port into four and does it easily with the included attached USB 2.0 cable. Just plug that into one of your hubs and you are good to go! Now I don't have to keep switching cables when I want to connect another external drive. It successfully powers my thumb drives and provides a data connection to my external hard drives and I can keep them all connected without any hassles.
The travel hub itself is high impact white plastic with black trim. The attached cable is in my opinion a bit too short and also doesn't appear to be very durable for the long run. It reminds me of those small travel mice with the retractable cables. Since I am not using this as a 'travel' hub , I won't be needing to constantly plug it in and remove it, but for those who will I can't speak for the durability of the connecting cable. It appears to be the one weak point in the entire construction. It works fine, but for how long? The hub gets 5 stars, but I am subtracting 2 for the flimsy cabling.

Does exactly what it says it does... . This is exactly what you'd expect from the photo. There are three ports on the front and one on the side that you can plug things into (which means once you've used up one USB port on your computer to plug the hub into, you've netted a total gain of three ports). Then on the back, there is a USB connector which is attached to a short, 1.75" cord that flexes in any direction you need it to, to plug into your laptop or desktop gracefully.
While it's obvious this is meant to sit on a flat surface like if your laptop was on a table, I have it just hanging loosely from my desktop USB and it's fine - seems stable and sturdy. Overall, this is just what you'd expect from the product - it works great and is a good solution to not having enough USB ports.
