Solid Switch . Using an set of these in our intnernal server room, they work great thus far. For us, it comes down to longevity, well see how long this pieces last. Would be great if the full 10/100/1000 version of this switch was more affordable.

The Price and Seller Warranty Don't let it go . Didn't have any idea about managed switches this was required by my IT person for a local office networking job. Tried searching for it through Amazon and checked back with my IT guy. Ordered two units immediately. The item is in an excellent working condition. Every port is perfectly operational and with the seller's warranty I'more than happy.

Cons Review

Great Product I would really like another one . This is a great switch for the money. I have bought several over the years. They are reliable and easy to set up. What initially looked like a great purchase went terrible wrong. The first problem was I did not receive the product I ordered. I received some sort of rack attachment instead by mistake. When I used email to bring this to the vender's attention I was told that they could not send me the switch and that a refund would take several weeks. I indicated, again via email, that this was unacceptable and my business could not afford to have the funds tied up for that long as I still needed to get a switch from another vender. They eventually agreed to quickly refunded my money and I moved on. It was not a very happy buying experience. However, the Linksys SLM248G is a very good switch. The switch is a 4 star product but the purchase experience and lack of initial customer service in this instance rates only 1 star.
