Wow. Impressive signal strength and Speed . Mac airport card was flaking out. lots of dropped connections, slow signals = very frustrating. Should've bought this a long time ago, it's a no brainer!
Get this to breathe new life into your wireless internet connection. Solid signal and very impressive speed with the dual antennae. No way was the installed airport card ever this fast. Did a speed test on Speakeasy and am hitting the maximum as if I were directly plugged in to the cable modem.
Super easy instructions, fast/reliable speed. I'm very happy with this product.

Phenomenal wireless signal speed . I have not used too many wireless adapters so I cannot make comparisons. I just bought a used Power MacG5 on eBay and needed a wireless adapter. So I bought this thing after reading a few glowing reviews on Amazon. Right off, I experienced issues with the set up and had to go until the last page of the instructions provided with the package which were otherwise very lucidly written. Even so, I still could not get the wireless going even though the adapter was clearly able to identify my network. I went through a bunch of solutions back and forth via email with tech support (John) who was pretty prompt. Unfortunately, none of the solutions John suggested worked for me, leaving me frustrated.
As I reluctantly got ready to ship the item back, I tried turning my router on/off as a last ditch effort and voila..the internet started working magically--and blazing fast I must say. I only wish the tech support would have suggested this easy solution earlier (maybe something they could include in their future versions of the instruction sheet) I now have my Mac upstairs bedroom and still the signal strength is great.Final word: Recommend without hesitation.

Very pleased! . This usb wireless adapter does work as listed. And what I liked is that both my internal And this usb antennae worked at the same time. The included software (small file size) is pretty detailed about showing your connection from both channels and such plus more info. Great product and price here on amazon!

Going wireless . Great way to add wireless capability to an experienced MAC laptop. Using the AftertheMac wireless adapterAftertheMac n300 Mac 802.11n USB Wireless Adapter Dual Antennae MiMo, enabled me to use my now untethered Titanium laptop anywhere. I now have the portability of my Macbook Pro without it's size and weight. The supplied software was easy to use and the results were spectacular.
AftertheMAC N300 for MAC Mini . I bought this for an older Mac Mini that I got to use on my big screen TV for web browsing. The internal (G) wireless was just too slow to be enjoyable. Not being a frequent MAC user it took me a bit to realize that my machine had the most current version of the MAC O/S installed and that the drivers provided on the enclosed CD would not work.
I contacted Support via email and they immediately sent me a download link for the current driver, which was easily installed. The installed adapter instantly provided the increased speed I was looking for.
One vendor suggestion: every other (sales) website I can think of has a prominent link on the home page labelled "DOWNLOADS" or "DRIVERS" that contains all up-to-date downloads. Might consider running with the pack on this one.

Very good product easy to install . I purchased the n300 Mac USB Wireless Adapter and have been using it for over a month. I have no complaints. It was very easy to install and gives me good wireless connectivity. One thing, as they point out in their literature, antenna placement is important.
Afterthemac n300 . For those who still have the older mac computer (after they switched the operating system to intel) and wish to switch to wireless networking after useing inline routers...It can be VERY furstrating finding a wireless plug in! The Afterthemac n300 is the way to go! It does the job quickly and works flawlessly and if you need help installing it...give them a call... good response and very helpfull. Yes, I would recomend this product.

Very satisfied - Highly recommended . I thought I already reviewed this item, but I'm very happy to do it again. Not only does this product work easily and effortlessly at far less the cost than what I found in stores, but the support staff is wonderful. I had some questions as I was going through the steps to activate this and the folks at AftertheMac called right back and walked me through everything. It was so helpful and they were extremely patient while I worked my way through my questions. I can't recommend this product or this company enough.
Not the best but it does work . I have an older imacG3 and I'm running OS 10.4, this product gets me wireless internet connection, lightning quick, & the only problem is that it keeps dropping connection, and I constantly have to reconnect to the wireless router, which can be a huge pain. When It's connected it works great, but I'd recommend trying to fund another product before you try this one
For me only works ok . I bought this to replace the failed Airport card on my G4 iBook. After a couple hours of troubleshooting (with great support on this by the seller), it almost has the range of the stock iBook wireless system. My main remaining problem (which the seller didn't address) is that the wireless utility (which must be running for the wireless adapter to remain connected to the router) uses from 25 to 35 percent of the iBook's CPU capacity. This has the effect of making streaming audio and video very 'stuttery', since the CPU is busy simply running the wireless utility. I used to use the laptop to listen to streaming audio in the kitchen (about 20 feet from the router, but through a doorway), but this is now usually impossible. Running multiple programs is also near impossible given the strain on the processor. All in all, it works, but not as well as the stock Airport (which unfortunately is not repairable in any other way).
