Work as intended . - Use it with 3 Cisco 79x1G VOIP phones. Works as intended. The switch indicates that I consume more than 43W - less than 10W left for a potential 4th phone. It is a little higher than expected. Either the phones - 802.3af class 3 devices - consume more than advertised, or I should have taken into account cables dissipation.
- Very solid 100M switch. Replacing a sub-$20 switch, the latency observed between UPnP clients and servers are reduced.

Works well has some limitations though . It does what it says - powers your POE devices (up to 4). We used it to install access points throughout a residential condominium building's amenity floors. Very easy to install and setup.
The drawback though is that while each port can supply up to 15.4 Watts of power (consistent with 802.3af PoE Standards), the total aggregate cannot exced 53 watts. So...if you have 4 devices @ 15 watts each, this will not work for you.
Ironically, We hooked it up to 3 devices which each draws only 3.12 Watts, and somehow the switch signals its supplying over 45 watts aggregate. I don't get it. So if we needed a 4th PoE device, I'm guessing the switch wont supply it. In comparison, TrendNET's similar 8port switch (with 4 POE ports) only supplies a total of 30 watts over POE. So unless you get a full 8 port POE switch, this is a good option.
There is no separate uplink, so one of your 8 ports can be used for that (all are auto-sensing).

Works great . Switch works great. No setup hassles, plug-n-play. Currently using it for two PoE phones, and several other non-powered devices. Great.

The 4 PoE ports work well with our Polycom phones. I had hoped it was an 8 port switch with a seperated uplink port, and perhaps just overlooked this in the details, but it's still worth purchasing for 7 devices.

So Far So Great . I am running several Panasonic POE cams on this router, plus some normal traffic too. The price was great and it works right out of the box. I did not even bother to read the directions. Plug it in and it works fine. No noise, no heat that I can tell (?) and all is great.
Great Product . This device worked perfectly out of the box. It was used to power 4 Cisco 525 IP phones. I would use this product again if needed

works well . Used this item in conjunction with an audio DSP unit and its controllers (up to 4), which must be POE powered; the DSP unit does not supply POE. This unit eliminates the need for a separate POE injector for each controller. Does its job well.
Power Supply DOA . Unable to supply Pros/Cons type of review as device arrived with a failed external power supply. Now hind-sight, this may have been a good thing as my application was for use with four PoE IP Surveillance Cameras. The uplink of this switch was a max of 100 Mbps, which might have been saturated with four cams feeding live full motion video 24/7 to our home server. Since Amazon would not exchange, I returned for refund, and went with the Netgear ProSafe Plus Switch, 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet with PoE (GS108PE). I also plan to expand from the four to possible eight cams; therefore, I think the extra money for the gig uplink will be worth it in the future. I wish I could have spoken to the actual workings of this device. All in all, the price point for what you get appears to be correct for the one I returned and the one I upgraded to. I'm rating 3 stars as I think it unfair for a 1 (not fully tested) or 5 as a supporting component was DOA.
Cons Review
Wrong part for the description . The part was described as POE injector not a switch with POE. So I have a set of switches that are useless to me. I will not use amazon for parts again.
