Good things come in small packages . I got this bluetooth adapter because it was listed as compatible with my device and OS, and because I recognized the Toshiba name. It works exactly as I need it to. It's tiny, and stays out of the way. I leave it plugged in to my laptop on a side USB port, and moving from docking station to meetings to into my bag the adapter doesn't snag on things.
Something I didn't think of when I ordered: what do I do with it when I'm not using it? It's so small, I worry that I'm going to misplace it in plain sight. I just leave it plugged in to my laptop all the time so I don't have to worry about where it is.

Toshiba bluetooth dongle . Bought this to replace a generic Bluetooth dongle that didn't work with Gogroove Airband headset. While the stuff running in the background was undesired, it doesn't seem to affect my computer's performance. Not only was this effective, but this is the easiest Bluetooth adapter I've ever used. No problems with my headset or the wireless keyboard I sometimes use as a remote control when I'm using my PC as a media center.

Buy this if you have a Toshiba for sure . I dont know how it works with other laptops, but I bought for a Toshiba Satellite A665 and it works perfect, and was a breeze to install, true plug and play

Excellent simple product from name-brand supplier. . I recently purchased this Toshiba Bluetooth adapter to enable use of Bluetooth accessories on a Sony laptop running Windows 7. The product worked perfectly and is unobtrusive. Highest recommendations!
Works Well . The dongle works as intended and the software loaded w/o any glitches. I use the dongle to sync my phone wirelessly and I use my bluetooth headphones when listening to music and/or watching movies on my laptop. I bought another one to use on my desktop at work. I am able to use the same headphones (after it pairs of course) and listen to music on my desktop at work w/o the wires.
Toshiba Bluetooth USB Adatpter . It worked like promoted. I received the product, plugged into my laptop and it worked. I added a bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I am very pleased with it so far.
If you need a dongle... . Get this one if working with Windows 7. Other protocol stacks yeild mixed results. This one works.
Works great . Not sure if it is an OS or laptop thing but there is no obvious way to sleep the unit to save battery life. Otherwise works as expected - am real happy with it.
Cons Review
TREO USERS BEWARE! . Unit is cool and does exactly what Toshiba claims it does. HOWEVER, it does NOT work with Palm 755P and Windows 7 64 bit. Will not fix Hot Sync issues and Palm doesn't care to help. (THANKS FOR NOTHING, PALM!) ALSO, it's not Win 7 certified... as claimed online. :(
