Works Great !! Very easy . I looked at a zillion of these Bluetooth adapters, wanting to add BT to my wife's PC to sync her BlackBerry, and I saw this one consistently reviewed among the best on every site that sold it.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, the installation could not have been easier, I simply enabled the BT services in Win7, then plugged it into a USB port, and Win7 did the rest. The whole deal took less than 1 minute.

What attracted me to this adapter was it seemed to work farther away than most of the other adapters, according to others who had purchased several different ones.

The cool part is now my wife can sync her BlackBerry with her Outlook calendar - when her computer is upstairs in her office, and her BlackBerry is downstairs in the kitchen in her purse !!

Highly recommend this adapter, I'll be getting more for my other computers.

Azio BTD-V201 USB Micro Bluetooth Adapter, Class 1, V2.1 + EDR Reviews
Azio Bluetooth Adapter .. Just Perfect!! . My last Bluetooth adapter was one of those generic ones for $1.63 sold right here on Amazon that sorta worked in Windows 7, but kept having problems. Eventually, the drivers got would not reinstall and there was no way to update them as they were basically made in China by a unknown company. That device came in a plastic bag with no physical driver cd, so when it failed, it failed permanently.

The only choice was to reformat and hope they would automatically reinstall or use something else.

Took a chance and went for the Azio BTD-V201 USB Micro Bluetooth Adapter, Class 1, V2.1 + EDR instead, the device immediately installed perfectly in Windows 7 64-bit and it found my Logitech PlayStation 3 Cordless MediaBoard Pro. Total installation time: 1 minute.

After playing with the Bluetooth stack on the generic one for hours, i'll never buy or recommend the generic adapter again.. it may be cheaper, but it's not worth the headaches.

Thanks Amazon for selling an awesome product.
Azio BTD-V201 USB Micro Bluetooth Adapter, Class 1, V2.1 + EDR Opinions
Works on Mac OS X 10.5 and up . The docs included with this device say it works only with Windows. Boy, is that wrong.

Connected the Azio to a free USB port on an old G4 iBook with no built-in BT. Holy moley, this thing BLASTS out its signal! In terms of range of operation, it definitely beats the factory BT in a recent Mac Mini and a late-model MacBook Pro. I just got it today, so I can't vouch for its longevity. But right out of the box, it's pretty amazing.

Consider: iBook (with Azio attached) in the living room, streaming podcasts over our local network. Me in the kitchen listening on a BT headset while making a snack. Whoops, turned on the microwave! There goes the signal, right? Wrong! It kept playing. Not even a stutter or a drop. Let me repeat that: IT KEPT PLAYING OVER THE MICROWAVE.

Unbelievable. And at that range, at least 20 feet through an interior brick wall.

The iBook runs the latest version of Leopard, and it recognized the Azio instantly. Don't know if it will work with earlier or later systems. I haven't yet tried making Skype calls over the Azio, but I bet it works great. The Azio paired up with my stereo Samsung WEP870 headset easily.

I can heartily recommend this device to Mac users.
Worked fine with Win 7 64bit Dell laptop . Install the required software, then plugin the dongle into a USB port, then had to restart laptop to finish installation. Then all I had to do was pair my laptop to my devices. IMO, it's stupid that a win7 pc didn't already come with BT (not sure if it's MS or Dell's fault), but this dongle is an affordable work around that doesn't involve opening up the pc.
Great product and driver! . I had purchased on ebay one of the $3 Bluetooth adapters for my laptop so it'd talk to my photovoltaic inverter. However the driver was unreliable and flaky. It wouldn't even load on a second laptop. And to get the latest supported version was like $30. And I couldn't get the trial version of the $30 driver to work.

So I figured I'd try a name-brand Bluetooth, just happened to pick this based on reviews. I loaded the driver, and plugged it in, and it just worked. Communicated with the inverter solid first try. But I haven't really put it through it's paces, just loaded it once. In many ways, the driver is more important than the hardware itself, and so far, the driver has been great! I didn't rely on the CD that came with it, I downloaded from their web site.

The only downside is that this thing sticks out about 1/2" or so and it has square corners, so if you leave it in the laptop and put it in and out of a case, it'll tend to catch on stuff. Rounded corners on the dongle would be excellent.

It's also listed as open-box, but I couldn't tell that it wasn't brand new.
Good thing in a small package . This was a very easy install. I downloaded the Windows 7 version, went through the install process, plugged it in, and now I have bluetooth on my desktop. My paired logitech mediaboard pro works over 15 feet away, through a wall, without dropping keys.
This one WORKS! . I had a product from a different manufacturer that worked fine with Vista but not with Windows 7. I was back and forth so much with Support that they almost knew me personally. I gave up and ordered this adapter. When it came, it wouldn't work, either, but Support pointed me to a driver update that had it going in short order. Not only would I recommend this dongle--I recommend the good Support the manufacturer offers.
Good but tough to get going . This product works very well but be prepared to have lots of IT support to get going with it. My son, the computer genius got it to work but spent some time on internet blogs learning how to hook it to my Palm Centro.

Cons Review
Not what I expected . I bought this with the idea of synching my android phone to my pc to transfer files and have the pc act as a bluetooth headset per say. But the software of this dongle does not have these options. It supports FTP and synching with a mouse and keyboard. I do not get it. Any keyboard or mouse you buy that is wireless will have it's own dongle. So as such I am not happy with this hardware and have already taken it out.
