Just Like the Regular Model But In Pink . You can't even tell from the picture, but the reason this ROCKETFISH 4-PORT USB HUB is more expensive than other ones is because it comes in the color pink. The pink version of this device is the most difficult to find.
As far as the device goes, after purchasing a new computer, I needed to get a USB hub to connect some of the "temporary" devices to my desktop. After searching around several stores, I chose the ROCKETFISH 4-PORT USB HUB. I chose this device because of the unique circular hub which allows for the connection of four different devices from different locations. This USB Hub also has a suction cup on the bottom which allows one to transfer the hub to wherever it is most convenient.
With that said, the device does have a couple of flaws. First of all the USB cord that connects the hub to the desktop has a connector that is at a 90 degree angle. If you already have devices plugged into the back of the desktop tower, this requires some moving around because the angle of the connection cord just will not fit into any USB port; printer cables, for example, can get in the way. The other flaw in the design are the glowing LED lights. I kind of like the lights, but they can become annoying because (outside of dismantling the device or completely disconnecting it from the computer) there's no way to turn them off. As I said, I like them, but I see how they can cause an issue for some people.
I've been using this device for about two months now and have had no issues with it. It comes with a one-year manufacturer's limited warranty and based upon the performance so far, I think it will last for at least that long. If you're looking for an inexpensive USB port hub and don't mind a few design flaws, I recommend the ROCKETFISH 4-PORT USB HUB.
