Easy squeezey . Device is fairly simple to operate. Very limited instructions but it isn't complicated to use. If you get confused just go to YouTube and watch a video of it in action or a similar wave device. Works great, and good range in my condo.

Aeon Labs Z-Wave Z-Stick Series 2 USB Dongle Reviews
easiest z-wave tool ou tthere . This thing is great. Due to its internal battery you can simply pop this out of the usb port , walk to the newly installed z-wave node and pair them.
usage is simply. Push the button on the dongle , push the button on the control to be paired. the Z-stick will blink its led fast to notify you that the pairing has succeeded.
To unpair the procedure is equally simple : hold the button on the z-stick until the LED blinks fast , then push the button on the control you want to un-pair.
Once you are done , plug the z-stick into the usb port and import the information. I use a self built HomeSeer based system (Zotac Intel Atom based Zbox with a SDD , WinXP Pro and HomeSeer 2.5) in combination iwht Cooper Z-wave controls ( Aspire-RF ).
i also have a Schlage and a quickeset Doorhandle and Deadbolt. Works like a charm

Limited Software but great device . If you do not have a laptop to lug around the house to each Z Wave module this thing will work just fine. But, there is not much software around that will recognize it when you upload it. I ended up buying Z-Tool from Homeseer.com to load the data from the stick. I then used the copy function in Z-Tool to transmit the data from the Aeon Z-Stick to the HomeSettings Think Essentials Z-Stick and software. Using Z-Wave for 7+ years now this ended up being the fastest and most convenient method to get all my Z-Wave devices into a PC based software. Ultimately it would have been nice if ThinkEssentials aceepted the Aeon Z-Stick data directly but this was an acceptable work around that was the least inexpensive.
