This is a Voice Caller Id modem- great price . This modem installed right out of the box with Windows 7.
With one answering machine software found online,
i had to change the settings in the software program to
software controlled in modem settings to get the caller id
to work. In another answering machine program (callclerk), i ended up
having to use different drivers listed at the programs website
to get the caller id to work. The software owners helped
me with this through e-mail.For the price, it's an
excellent option to get a caller id voice modem.

Cons Review
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT . The Product Description claims that the modem is a Data/Fax/T.A.M. modem. It's not a TAM modem nor is it Window 7 capable. it comes with a cd with Windows Vista driver. Windows 7 gives you a warning not to install the drivers. I brought this product thinking it was T.M.A. (Telephone Answering Machine) capable modem, as it claims in the Product Description. It's not....
