4 Port USB hub . This may be a simple part to any computer box, yet when you take a closer look at this 4 port USB hub you can see it is not just like the rest on the market today.
It is well made and each port has it's own indicator LED light. Simple yes, but still a little better then the ordinary.

Belkin 4-Port Drive-Bay USB Hub . Provides four hi-speed USB 2.0 ports at the front of your computer. Takes up one 3.5" external facing, i.e. floppy drive, bay. Draws power from a standard 4-pin floppy drive power connector. Has a type-B USB connector on the card which you connect to an internal type-A port using the provided cable. The Belkin 5-port USB PCI card works great with it. Uses same mounting screws as a CDROM/floppy drive. Screw holes are on the sides only. Tested under WinXP, many flavors of Linux. To the OS it looks like any other USB hub. Works so well it's boring.

Belkin usb front bay hub . This is my second time buying this product. I bought it several years ago locally. Installed it on my older desktop that had front usb ports but they were usb 1. So I installed a Belkin pci usb card with 4 external and one usb plug
So when I was given this other computer it had no front usb ports. Its so much nicer to have ports on front. Cause I often use my external drives etc
Course you have to run the usb cord to the internal usb pci card or outside thru an opening to an extrnal usb port on back. But its no problems
Just cause we are ladies doesn,t mean we cant do it. Right??
Locally price was $49 for either gray or ivory. Amazon $20 cheaper
The only down side is Amazon didn't offer me this in ivory. But for price I can live with gray for my ivory puter Thank you

All 4 Ports Work . The front 4 port installed easily , worked fine.
I discovered that the ports are to close together for the thumb drives and
and a cable to work together so I only have 2 working ports.
4 cables work fine. This hub does not meet my needs.
