Perfect Fit . I ordered this card to replace one that had gone bad in my Dell 600m. The main reason I selected this card was it was supposed to be an exact replacement for my old card. The card was an exact replacement and worked flawlessly from the first moment I installed it. The price was good and the shipping was very fast, faster than I expected.
Works great! . We installed this in a Dell Latitude D620, and it works great. Much more stable than the PCMCIA cards we had previously used. Very satisfied.
Intel Internal Wireless LAN Card 2200BG WM3B2200BG For Dell Inspiron Reviews
Works on windows xp pro and ubuntu 8.10 . I installed this on a Dell c640 1GB ram, pentium 4, 40GB hard drive, running Ubuntu 8.10, the wireless card was recognized by Ubuntu without any problem or installing any extra drivers.

I also installed this on the same system but running Windows XP pro, but I have to download the drivers from Intel website. (Windows did not recognized the card automatically without installing the drivers)

The card is working perfectly on both systems without any problem.
Intel Internal Wireless LAN Card 2200BG WM3B2200BG For Dell Inspiron Opinions
Works great under Ubuntu or Windows . I bought this wireless card to install into a Dell Latitude C540 that I got as a hand-me-down for free. I was worried that I'd have to jump through some hoops to get this thing to install on my installation of Ubuntu 10.10, but I was elated to see that it was recognized upon boot-up. Very satisfied.

This coupled with a memory upgrade and a clean Linux installation with a lightweight window manager breathes new life into this old machine.
Slick little upgrade! . I have an older Dell Latitude C610 that didn't have the internal mini card for wireless, I had a Cisco 802.11b PC card in one of my two slots. The PC card was pretty slow and since it's so small, it didn't have better than "good" connectivity, even just 10 feet from my Trendnet wireless router.

I checked online to be sure this was compatible with my Dell, and it was.

I installed the Intel software and drivers first, then powered down and opened up the machine to install the hardware.

It was a little tricky to install - the card itself slipped right into the slot, but the two antennae connectors.... are tiny! One "snicked" on the card first try, but the second connector fought me for a few minutes, though I eventually won the battle.

Boot up, and XP SP3 detects the card and installs the drivers in seconds. Then the Intel software loaded, and soon I had sniffed out all the networks in my neighborhood. Piece of cake!

Er..........not so much. The Intel networking software was written by super geeks and made connecting to my home network among the more frustrating software experiences I've experienced in a few years. I finally uninstalled all the Intel technobabble and just used the networking services under XP. Much mo' better!

Updated the driver by going to the Intel website and used their own utility to detect the card, compare drivers, then update and install new drivers all in a few minutes.

ANYhow......"Excellent" 802.11g connectivity anywhere around my house, even outdoors. Way better than the old b Cisco card was, even just a few steps from the router.
Surprisingly good! . I was very nervous to purchase this as it was through a secondary seller but it was a good experience. Before purchasing I did some research to determine if the card would be compatible with my computer and the consensus seemed to be that it would. Just in case, I contacted the seller, Moon Tech, and asked if they could verify the compatibility. They responded very quickly, confirming that it would work.

The device arrived a few days later and was a perfect match for my computer. My only complaint is that the device arrived with no paperwork so I needed to get back online for another round of research to figure out how to correctly install it.
Works great in my Dell C640 . My 2002 Dell Latitude C640 had the antennas pre-installed so I pre-loaded the driver and then just popped it in the mini wifi bay and connected the wires. The biggest opportunity for problems is using the wrong driver. I went to the Dell website and reviewed the entire driver history and carefully chose the most relevant version (driver only, from the C610 list) and use the windows wifi manager. If you have any problems, try other driver versions that may be a good match from either your laptop mnfg site or the Intel site. Good performance with a Lynksys WRT54G and an ATT 4G elevate.
excellent seller and product . when i purchased my dell inspiron 6000 it has a deffective wireless card , and when i orderd this one i was affraid that it is gonna be defictive because it is the same brand of mine , but the great thing that it works great and has a very good speed than my old one
Worked as expected . Simple, successful transaction. It arrived sooner than expected. I downloaded the drivers, plugged it in and installed it, turned it on in the BIOS (my computer was built without wireless so I do not have an external switch) and have had no trouble with it thus far.
