Excellent Wireless Adapter . I have two Buffalo hard drives and they've survived for 5 years and numerous drops. So, I had no reason not to purchase this wireless adapter for my HP Mini.
It was easy to install. I popped the disc into the optical drive and the drivers installed easily. Then, I popped the adapter into the USB port and within seconds I was connected to the Internet.
I've been online for hours now without any issues. It's an excellent product. I've still got to try it on the iMac though.

Buffalo Technology N-Technology Wireless-N150 Ultra-Compact USB 2.0 Adapter WLI-UC-GNM Reviews
WAS: 20Mhz only but 40Mhz declared -- need latest drivers and software tool . Today I again tried to find some workaround to make it work at 150Mbit (not 65Mbit as it does "from the box"). I have 100mbit (Ethernet type) Internet connection at home via Zyxel x550nh @ ISP PPTP and it's annoying to get only 2.5-3 Megabytes\sec via Buffalo wifi when my wired PC can get up to 11 Megabytes\sec.
I found driver at their European site: [...].
It contains actual WLI-UC-GNM driver (not just WLI-UC-GN), in my case Win7 64bit, and software tool named "AirStation Bandwidth 20 or 40MHz Select Tool", I ran this tool and it gives option to select 150Mbit (40Mhz) or 72Mbit (20Mhz), selected 150Mbit then it reconnected itself and Windows now shows Buffalo connection running at 150Mbit, now my Internet\LAN getting 7.2Megabytes\sec via Buffalo wi-fi. I'm happy now, so I'm changing my 2 start to 5 ones.
Sorry for my language, English is not my native one.
My old review:
Tried it with Zyxel x550nh and TPLink TL-WA701ND both 40Mhz enabled, it's always running on 65Mbit only (20Mhz).

you need a usb extender!!!... . The signal jumps like none other on my desktop which stays still 65 mbps to 5.5 mbps in a flash.update as of 9/28/2011I've gotten this to work I found a usb extender that was 3 ft. long and plugged it up and now I get 58.5 and 65.0 mega bytes per second.

Cons Review
Will not work wirh with WD TV Live Plus . I purchased the Buffalo Wireless-N Ultra Compact USB 2.0 Adapter to provide wireless capability for the WD TV Live Plus that I purchased at the same time. Before I made the purchase, I did go to WD website and saw that the Buffalo Wireless-N Ultra-Compact USB 2.0 Adapter is listed to be compatible with the WD TV Live Plus.
I plugged it into one of the USB 2 ports on the WD Live Plus, turned it on then I looked for the Wireless Connection option just as described in the WD's Instructions on their support website. Except the option never came up on screen, which made me to believe that the adapter is not detected. I went ahead and tried it on the second USB port on the WD TV Live Plus, and that produced the same result. Upon further investigation, I discovered that WD has changed the part number of their "Buffalo Wireless-N Ultra Compact USB 2.0 Adapter" from WLI-UC-GN to WLI-UC-GNM. The -GNM version is slightly smaller than the -GN version. The one I purchased is WLI-UC-GNM as WLI-UC-GN is no longer available. I did verify it with a laptop making sure the adapter is in working condition outside of the WD TV Live Plus.

Poor reception . I wanted to like this cute little USB wifi adapter, but my computers can only connect using this adapter if it is within a few feet of the wireless router. My router is 802.11g, so perhaps it would work better with a 802.11n router. I tried on both a Windows XP laptop and a linux laptop. I spent quite a few hours getting the device to work on linux before giving up due to poor reception. I had to actually modify the ralink linux driver code to add the necessary device ID. I ended up returning the device to Amazon. Perhaps I'll try the DLINK dwa-131 next. I do still want a device that doesn't stick out far enough to be easily bent or broken.
