Good Multi-function printer server . Print server was easy to set up and works well for regular printer. Multi-function wasn't the best, missing some functions like "Scan to PDF" but regular scanning is okay.

Flawless . Easy installation. Works perfectly. No firewall concerns or other problems. Just plugged it in and started printing!
Great Print Server . It did exactly what is advertised. I love not having to keep a PC running to have to print
TRENDnet 1-Port Multi-Function Print Server TE100-MP1U (Blue) Reviews
Worked like a charm . The only regret I have at the time I purchased this is that I didn't see that there was a $20 rebate for the 2-port version bringing the price to about the same as this item. Installation was relatively easy. They have a utility to make it easier to install but I didn't have to use it. XP and Vista had all the drivers I needed. I'm able to print on an HP printer via my Windows XP computers that are "wired" to my network and my Windows Vista laptop that's hooked up wirelessly. I didn't connect this to a multi-function printer that so I can't comment on the scanning or faxing.

Cons Review
What do you mean "turn off your firewall"? . I purchased this product and 2 hours after opening the box, I was taking it back. Initial setup seemed to be easy - just plug it in, load up the software and supposedly away you go. Nope. To even get the software to see the print server, I had to turn my firewall off - not just drill a hole - turn it completely off. Then, once I turned off the firewall and could actually see the device, I couldn't print to it - I got the very useful error message of "Connect to Failed!" So, I called TRENDNet support. What a disaster that was - the guy couldn't understand why a device hooked up to my switch didn't show up in my computer's device manager. When I explained this was an external device hooked to the network, he said "Oh." and put me on hold, only to come back a few minutes later to tell me that I would have to leave my firewall off for good. When I objected to this idea, I was told that support would call me back "in 48 hours". I told him not to bother and hung up.
Garbage Garbage Garbage . This print server was suppose to be easy to install. I bought it because it is the only one I found to be compatable with a Minolta 2400W laser printer. Guess what, I never got that far to find out. The install was a nightmare from hell. The manual is not clear about the TCP IP settings on the unit and just getting to the place to set them is a real chore. I spent five hours just trying to get to the point where I could sign in to the device to set the Ip address. It kept blinking the device in the control panel software you install and it was like playing tag with me the loser everytime. When I finally signed into the unit and changed the IP address to match my router, Windows XP went into a conflict mode about IP addresses and the control panel froze. I then went via the web browser route and signed into the device. I upgraded the software, as recommended by the Trendnet website, but gosh and by golly that was the last time I could do anything with this unit. Don't waste your time with this thing unless you have an IT degree and lots of time. As for me it just plain sucks and it is going back!!!
