Won't Charge iOS Devices . I was shocked this requires a power supply and still won't charge any of my iOS devices. Very elegant solution with one major flaw...

Terrific . The Belkin Ultra Slim Aluminium Series 7-Port USB hub is a nice device. It's very sleek, lightweight and professional looking. It's quite powerful. I have an external hard drive, a mouse, a printer, a keyboard, a bluetooth adapter and my iPod connected with no problem. My old USB hub was erratic and unreliable but the Belkin has been able to handle USB enabled device that I've plugged in so far. Great product.

Reliable and works as advertised . I've used my camera, flash drive, and scanner all at once, and it works just as advertised. It is unobtrusive, sleek. Nicely designed and a good buy.
Belkin Ultra Slim Aluminium Series 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub (F4U039fcAPL) Opinions
Sleek design provides an attractive way to add additional USB ports . There's not much to say about USB ports. This one works. It has a sleek design that provides an attractive way to add additional USB ports and I probably won't ever have to worry about not having enough of them, something you never think is going to be an issue, until you actually run out of them.
Fantastic!! . What can I say, this is the first USB hub that works with my old computer (2004 Dell 2400). I don't know if it's because it's a Belkin or because it's powered, but this thing works like a charm!! Hurray!!
Looks good works good . My previous Belkin 7 port USB hub (that I've had for a year) had issues with external hard drives (only recently started failing), so I jumped at the chance to test this model. It's attractive (slim & sleek) & portable. I'll never understand the bulkiness necessary for the power adapters. Luckily this one fit perfectly on the end of my current power strip. I tested all 3 of my external hard drives (WD Passport 160GB, WD Elements 500GB, WD Elements 640GB) and all were accessible, an issue I had with my previous Belkin hub that wouldn't recognize or read them. I haven't noticed any excessive heat and the hub has remained cool to the touch. I don't leave electronics plugged into hubs for long lengths of time. Although I'm very happy with this item, I never would've shelled out $60 for it. I'm removing one star for price.
Pricey but sturdy . I've been using a 4-port hub worth about $20. It sometimes fails me and does not recognize what is plugged into it. This one has 7 ports, which is an overkill for me, but seems to be working just fine. It doesn't take up a lot of room either. If you need a lot of ports and don't mind paying more for it, this might be for you. ~Provided for my unbiased review by the Amazon.com Vine program.
Nice space-friendly hub . The first thing I noticed about this hub is how small it is considering at has 7 ports on it. While it is long because it accommodates 7 ports, it's quite thin and narrow. Probably an excellent choice for toting in your portable computer's bag.

The next thing I noticed is that its fairly weighty for size which makes me feel like it's probably well-built with good materials.

I very much appreciate that it's a powered hub as built-in computer busses get overloaded so quickly with self-powered devices. It's also nice that it comes with a USB cable as so many components don't these days (not like you probably don't have a bunch sitting around anyways).

My only complaint is that the orientation of the plug on the power adapter pointed it the wrong direction on my power strip, meaning it took up 3 outlets instead of just 1.
Great USB Hub . I've lots of USB hubs, which all have been tossed. This hub has a AC power cord, which makes it work beautifully. I highly recommend.

Cons Review
Why is it powered? . For my Mac, it works great as a hub for usb hard drives. It syncs iPhone 4, but does not charge and forget about connecting a DVD or Blu-Ray usb drive. This device relies on A/C power and USB bus power from the computer, but still does not provide enough power. Customers can get this same functionality in a non A/C powered USB hub for much less expensive.
