This USB 802.11n Wi-Fi Dongle is designed to be used with the Micca EP250/EP250-G2, EP350/EP350-G2, EP500, EP600, EP900 digital media players. This adapter can be used with 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n routers in the 2.4Ghz band, for up to 300mbps transfer rate.
Actual transfer rate depends on installation and environmental factors such as radio interference from other devices. Typical through put of 7-8mbps is normal and enough for streaming most standard definition and 720p HD content. Ethernet LAN 100mbps connection is required for streaming 1080p high bit-rate content.

Working finr with EP500 . I added this adapter to EP500 for wireless connection.
It is working fine with EP500 and no issue I found.
I didn't try for other use so I can not tell other than that using with EP500.

Cons Review
Can't get it to work with my Linskys WRT54G . I've purchased a Micca EP250 media player with this additional 802.11n dongle to connect it to my PC via my router. Except it just doesn't work, despite a good signal, it just can't get an IP off the linksys router for some reason. I can't run ethernet cables, so I'm very disappointed, as going back and forth with a portable HD wasn't really my first intention when I bought this player! (something I could already do with my Western Digital player)
