Great Product...please know what you are buying . This is a great wireless acees point. Not sure why people buy Cisco gear without know what it is. Please note this unit needs to have a wireless controller, that is why LAP is in the model number!!!! Not sure why people buying this device and then complan after the fact that it needs the controller.

Description Addendum . I purchased this unit to have in-house in order to test a campus-wide deployment that will start in a few months.
Amazon's product description was really lacking and I was unable to find any information on Cisco's site with regards to this particular model (AIR-LAP1041N-A-K9), but I went ahead and purchased it anyhow.
It turns out that this unit only works with a Wireless Controller. We don't have a controller yet so I was unable to set it up in order to test it locally.
I'll need to return this item and look for one that works as a stand-alone unit.

Cons Review
For people with advanced Cisco knowledge only! . I purchased this unit and the description doesn't mention the requirement of a Cisco WLC (Wireless Lan Controller). Unfortunately, a WLC capable of running this unit is just as expensive (or quite a bit more!) as this access point.
It has been hinted that this unit can be upgraded to a standalone IOS, but all the documentation I can find to do this doesn't work.
