Intelligent POE

Really impressive . This is my fourth product from Ubiquiti, and they just keep getting better. I absolutely love these guys.
Great coverage from a tiny and inexpensive device. Lots of powerful features built in to the AirOS. These guys make inexpensive products for people who know what they're doing. Plenty of support through their forums and other users, but don't count on lots of one-on-one time with them on the phone. Most folks installing outdoor 802.11 radios probably don't need the handholding.
Be sure to use outdoor rated (UV protected) Cat5e cable. Shielded cable is also available, but probably not necessary for most applications.

Awesome add on for getting distance out of mi WIFI. . Bought this after seeing great reviews on it. Not dissapointed. Setup was easy after configuring my main router. I used this as an exteral AP for my wifi here in Afghanistan. Even with crazy weather and snad everywhere, I can access this via laptop inside a building 300 meters away. Outside I can use an external TP link usb adapter combined with a satellite dish to pick up signal about 3/4 a mile away. Love it.
Make sure you use MAC filtering on the router AND this if you have a secured Wifi. I had wifi set up on just the router... and since this is considered a LAN device, any computer that connected to it went around my MAC filtering until I saw what was happening.

Worth your money! . I bought this on a recommendation of a friend, to set up at my brother-in-laws place. It works very well!

Better Than Expected . Even with the glowing reviews, I was expecting to have at least a few issues with this product. I was pleasantly surprised when it preformed exactly as promised by the manufacture, and without a SINGLE hiccup during setup. Granted, there are no instructions. But if you have an average knowledge of LAN and Wifi, you can set one of these up in minutes as an incredible point to point bridge. And if you turn off AirMax and set the channel width to 20MHZ, it can act as a great long range Access Point for Wifi devices.This product has worked perfectly to stretch our current LAN at work across a street into our other building we just purchased.

Great point-to-point and point to multipoint wifi . These little line of sight wifi stations are a great way to extend your network. I set up four of these, one as an access point and three as stations. All three stations have full signal at distances over 1/4 mile. I even have one of these stations set up 90 degrees to the side of my access point and it still receives great signal. Setup is easy, and the power over Ethernet ensures that you don't have any signal degradation due to long RF cables.
