Refurbished Netgear XE104 AC ethernet adapter via Amazon . Plugged it in and worked right away. My two adapters were factory refurbished model and looked brand new. My browser received the Internet immediately, albeit no where as fast as a direct ethernet connection to a room that is on the second floor at the other end of my house on a completly different AC circuit. I have a Netgear WiFi USB dongle WG113 for my desktop which gets 54 Mps, but fails once a day. The dongle is now my backup. This unit is not so fast, but I added an extra star for ease of setup. I knew that the speed would be like half of 54 Mps from the Amazon reviews, but the price was right. IF you do lots of web surfing, the faster 200 Mbps powerline adpaters will be better for you, but they are like triple the price. Netgear always has the latest drivers for all their products on their website, so it's a name that I trust.
