Fantastic little device . Works incredibly easily and well, with surprisingly good range.
Works plug and play as an Access Point, and it was quite simple to change the SSID and password.Very simple to find instructions in english by searching for "TL-WR700N setting", and selecting the wordpress link.
The main article is in English, and the detailed links are in Chinese, but really easy to understand with google translate.To do the setup:
1. Set your LAN to static IP 192.168.1.2, subnet mask 255.255.255.0
2. Connect the router to AC and connect a LAN cable between the router and the computer.
3. GO to address 192.168.1.253, and use admin as both user and password.From there you can get instructions from the wordpress page for how to setup, but setting up the SSID and password was very intuitive - even with the Chinese menus in the router software.
Even the Router setup instructions, including login to your ISP, were pretty simple.One you have finished, connect your internet to the router, and connect wirelessly from the computer.

No Instructions . Router received on time. Seems to be well made, but have not been able to see if it works. The instructions are in Chinese only. Nothing in English. Poor planning on the part of the seller. Seller should at least sell a product that Americans can use and set-up.
Will try to explore internet to see if there is anything out there usable - so far, nothing.

No English firmware according to TPLink . TP-Link have now started selling a US Version with English firmware.

Unfortunately TP-Link claims the hardware is not compatible and the firmware won't load on the Chinese version - gives a Error Code: 18005 -- Upload the file version does not match with the models.

TL-WR700N . If you know how to setup a router for a secure network go here and you should not have much trouble figuring it out: [see my comment to this post]
The instructions are in english but the writing in the popup boxes will be in chinese. I'm not an expert and I had no trouble setting up a secure network. 10 minutes and I was up and running (securely) and I am using it now to make this post.

Not so hard to configured . Yes all you get is Chinese instructions, but you've got Google Translate, so actually its not that hard, and they are very flexible for the price. Here's some instructions [...]

Cons Review

TL-WR700N software/firmware . The documentation I received is in Chinese and not useable for me. The pages that are available when connecting to the device are also in Chinese. I need English firmware and instructions and a web site to find these things10/28/11The vendor has accepted the product in return. No US market product with English software/documentation is available at the present time. The product advertised and sold was for Chinese market.
