Highly Pleased !! . Am currently using the Gsky GS-27USB for about a year with very good results.
Switched to the more powerful BlueProton Gsky 1000 mw since I live a quarter mile away
from a free wifi source. I found the Gsky 1000 mw pulls in and holds the signal much better
than the GS-27USB, allowing me to surf it many hours without drop or interference. I found
the antenna works best with my desktop computer which has a beefier power supply and lesser
results with the laptop which supplies less power to the antenna. Definite difference in pulling
in signals if you're on a fringe area. Very happy with the antenna though.... it's money well spent.

Great performance but trouble setting up with Windows XP . The installation CD didn't work with Windows XP and the Gsky Link website's product support was no help. I finally pried the base open to get info off the chipset. It uses an RAlink RT2571wf, just so you know. Once I downloaded the driver installer from RAlink's website it was good to go. I don't have a way to actually measure its transmitting / receiving capability, but I can say that it took a barely detectable signal and made it "Very Good". I give it five stars despite the issues installing it because most people probably aren't using XP any more.

G sky high gain booster with wi-fi antenna . works great i get all five bars and wi-fi is faster then dsl or cable i had in the pass lol when i go to [...] and do the speed test and click on my closest location i get it up to 7 or even 8 on cable or dls i got it up to 1 or 3 it's just like having wireless in your own home...
